X11Libre

Alpine Linux/Chimera Linux Package

We Don't Wait for Official Repositories

While X11Libre may not be added to Alpine's or Chimera's official repositories (see for the reason) we're taking matters into our own hands even if Chimera Linux maintainers say that "maintainers are being reactionary dipshits". Our community-maintained X11Libre package is available through our third-party repository.

Our Philosophy

🚫 No drama

We don't care if "any effort to put xlibre will be rejected on the technical basis of the maintainers being reactionary terrible dipshits", we just focus on packaging and no political drama happening.

⚑ Fast Updates

Get the latest X11Libre versions without waiting for official repository cycles.

πŸ”§ Community-Driven

Built by users, for users and no unnecessary drama over on a social network argument by a distro. We maintain what we need.

Why We Go Independent

πŸ–₯️ Community without backlash

Again, we don't care if there should be "debates on whether parents of trans children should be lynched in order to ascertain relevant data for security maintenance of xlibre.", or that "XLibre and its β€œcreator” can go fuck themselves.", we just care about packaging to make Alpine Linux/Chimera Linux users happy.

🎯 Focus

We focus specifically on X11Libre, ensuring it's always up-to-date and properly maintained for Alpine/Chimera Linux users.
